Diversity Awareness Committee
The mission of the Trinity School Parent's Diversity Awareness Committee is to foster an environment where children, parents, and faculty have experiences that will help them to understand and embrace people of diverse ethnic, religious, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
This group meets monthly to discuss diversity issues, solutions and programs. Activities sponsored by the Diversity Awareness Committee include:
- Annual Fall Mixer to foster relationships among new and current Trinity parents
- Taste of Trinity: An Evening of Harmony — an exciting opportunity for students, parents, and faculty to explore diverse cultures, sample international foods, and enjoy entertainment
- Parent Education Diversity — Themed Coffee Chat in the spring
- Use of Trinity School publications to provide monthly cultural-awareness opportunities
- Diversity Expo (2008-2009)
- Black History Month
- Spanish Week
