Technology
Trinity School believes that technology serves a transformative purpose for all of its community members. It enhances early learners’ understanding of critical skills, as well as older students’ appreciation of the ever-changing world.
Students & Technology
Students’ foray into technology coincides with developmentally appropriate milestones.
- Early learners use tools and applications with their teacher’s direct guidance.
- Formal instruction begins in first grade when students meet weekly with the Instructional Technology Specialist to learn essential understandings for productive interaction in the 21st century.
- Older students have opportunities to use technology in fully integrated experiences that include using Microsoft Office tools for presentations, websites for research and exploration, and Tablet PC’s to prepare for life outside of Trinity School.
