The following components comprise our Core Classes Program:
Early Learners and Pre-K students are invited to stay for lunch, and enjoy playground time. Children may stay past 2 PM by enrolling in Stay & Play (3 PM dismissal) and Explorations (4 PM dismissal) and Connections (after 4 PM pick-up).
Children attending Stay and Play will enjoy playground time and Explorations planned activities until 3 PM carpool. The activities are part of a theme-based curriculum that provide experiences that enhance language skills, strengthen gross and fine motor skills, and enrich cognitive development. Children may stay past 3 PM by enrolling in Explorations (4 PM dismissal) and Connections (after 4 PM pick-up).
Study Hour is more than just an opportunity for quiet time! This is time for students to complete their homework. Our experienced Extended Programs staff of Trinity teachers will monitor students ensuring homework is completed. Our qualified Trinity teachers will assist by answering specific homework questions, supporting good time management and helping with the implementation of study skills. Once students have completed their homework, they may pursue another quiet academic-based activity. Computer games are not permitted except on Fridays and No-Homework days. Students staying after 4 PM may stay in Connections as late as 6 PM. Parents must sign in at Reception to pick up their child from Extended Programs.
This extended part of the day brings interaction with children across multiple grade levels. It creates opportunities to become an integral member of the Trinity community beyond the child's grade level through the development of new friendships. Students staying after 4 PM may stay in Connections as late as 6 PM. Parents must sign in at Reception to pick up their child from Extended Programs.
